I had asault guns RIGHT NEXT to a sniper tower, and they wanted to attack the tanks in the next town instead.. so I backed them off, AND then they attacked a tank on the other side of the town! We should be able to tell it what to attack first, maybe add a tactic or skill that does that temporarly, like a force attack to a cerain pointed area... That would be grand...
