What does morale do to units? And does having a special name added to units for multiple kills do anything?

Iv been noticing morale in units but do not know what exactly it does.? Also I see units with special names (Viking, Red Devils, ect) givin to units with multiple kills, does this have any effect on the units or is it just for show? Is it easier to just to let these units die and build fresh or fix them

Morale affects troops in combats. The original Morale for troop is 42%. Troop will become “Jubilant” when Morale reaches 100%, which increases attack, defense and speed of the troop; troop will become "Fleeing" when morale reaches 0%, which results in losing Health every minute.

Viking, Red Devils, ect are the designations. When we completed an achievement, we will be rewarded a medal as well as a designation. You can tap commander portrait and open medal interface to see which designation will be rewarded when you get one certain medal. When our troop killed certain number of enemies, it will get a designation randomly from what you already have. Designation for now represents glory, so it has no practical effect.
