When I enter one, I get one of two responses: 1) That name is taken 2) Name can only be changed when not in Battlefield. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. Nothing works. Help please! KentParis Posted June 2, 2016 Report Share Posted June 2, 2016 Since I assume you've linked your account to your Game Center it'll keep it this way. If you look at your battle events or global battle buttons (the two options under your name change pop up window in screen shot) does it say return to battle? If yes then you have to enter that battle and surrender to leave the battle. Not the leave to home screen button. Or perhaps wait till battle ends. Glenn42 Posted June 2, 2016 Author Report Share Posted June 2, 2016 So what I finally did was delete the game, sign out of Game Center, re-download the game, play through the first battle, the log back into GC. I was asked if I wanted to replace the data on GC, I did, and now also works fine. Ugh, what a pain, but I got it working.
