Personally I hate the concept because it's a war game and a shield just adds a cowardly escape for people who don't want to be attacked. AandBbroz Posted November 24, 2015 Author Report Share Posted November 24, 2015 And we should keep it that way, once you get out of that beginning stage I think you shouldn't be allowed to shield. Just play out the game, if you lose you lose. You can't win every game. Plus a shield is unbalanced, you will not take any damage however your turrets can still deal damage. There should be a damage cool down time or something, a common strategy I've seen is the person being attacked will drop one paratrooper to distract the troops attacking their village and then put up a shield because their village was technically not being attacked. Put a timer where if you took damage within a certain amount of time you can't put up a shield. Maybe a more balanced shielding system with some regulations would be more fair?
