Layan
Turrets - turrets are good defensive tool during early stages in game, true. However it's target selection is entirely out of control of the player and it seem to be prioritizing lowest health traps first. And aircrafts, primarily transports. So when on offensive it's a hack to flank the turret fire from ground troops who could kill it easily using such as stugs. But from the defending player's point of view this is somewhat useless feature. The reason is that turrets keep firing at empty transports even they already unloaded their cargo. So my suggestion is that to make it a controllable item like a stationary trooper. So the player could direct its fire to a desired target, of course it's the choice of the player.otherwise without players directions turret could be kept at default settings.
spyro58
But then again if they did this, you could also say its a hack for the defender because If they invaded with tanks and stugs, obviously stugs do major damage to buildings so the defender would target the stugs first and the meatshields (light tank, heavy tank medium tank and super tank) would be completely useless. The entire reason for tanks is so that they can take the damage before high dps units (assault guns) take damage so it would essentially make defending an easy job if the player is online. However, i think the player should control the ai to an extent, for example maybe the player can choose the shooting order of turrets (land, air, sea) but not fully because then the battle becomes nearly impossible for the invader to win.
RichieRightNow2
The transports are like non damage dealing flying tanks, so if you call that a life hack then using tanks would be a bigger one because they deal damage
