Leader troop

Well I thought about a really good idea and I think it's easy to add

I suggest that when you select a ground/air/sea troop a buttom (buttom like attack or enter and etc) called "Lead" wil be added and when you press that buttom a circle will appear and you can make all the troops in that circle to follow the leader troop

(Only ground units will be follow if the leader is a ground unit same as in air units and sea units)

An example:

An AT gun will be the leader and the faster troops that selected will follow him they will go to the same target but the faster troops (Like jeeps) won't go before the AT gun!

Benefits:

1. You don't have to manage your forces every second so you don't have to stop the faster troops and wait until the slower troops will catch up and only than to continue

Disadvantages:

There may be too many buttoms

Thanks for reading my idea :D

That would be nice. Do you mean a escort button?

That's a great idea and I've talked about it before because there's some games where u can promote a unit to a higher rank and have him be the squad commander etc and I'm sitting here trying to recall what game it was, but I vividly remember the follow unit function being an option. I'll troll around and get screenshots but over great idea. Perfect way to designate a flagship for your fleet or a commander for your tank column. That lucky unit will be "it" ?, let's see if anyone gets that reference. Hint: from a recent ww2 movie.

Just another quick 2 cents thrown in, this would really work well with formations being added to. I just stated the fleet so why not have a few options for naval for,Atkins and patrol and same but different options for land and air based units. Could add another aspect to the game we will all love because I know so,e of you(myself included) loves to make formations of our armies when there is a break from battle
